Choose a portable building when

  • You want it delivered built and ready, with no construction on site.
  • You need up to 16 feet wide: a shed, lofted barn, cabin or one-vehicle garage.
  • You want wood-style looks with a door, windows and a loft.
  • Rent to own would help. See rent-to-own sheds explained.

Choose a metal building when

  • You need more width: two or more vehicles, an RV, a tractor or a shop.
  • You want tall side walls and big roll-up doors.
  • You are covering equipment, hay or livestock on a farm.
  • You want to design the exact size in the 3D builder.

Either way

Plan the ground first. Our site prep guide covers pads, access and permits. Then compare Premier styles and prices and United Metal Buildings models.
