Rent-to-own sheds explained

Premier Portable Buildings can be bought with cash or through rent to own. Here is how rent to own generally works and what to ask.

How it works

With rent to own, you pick a Premier building and make monthly payments instead of paying the full price up front. When the payments are complete, the building is yours. The building is delivered to your property while you pay.

What sets the terms

Rent-to-own terms are set by Premier's program, not by us, and they can change. That includes term lengths, the first payment, and what happens if you pay off early or stop paying. Ask us for the current terms on the exact building and size you want, and read the agreement before you sign.

Questions to ask

  • What is the monthly payment and how many months?
  • What is due at delivery?
  • Can I pay it off early, and is there a discount if I do?
  • What happens if I need to stop?
  • Does damage protection come with it, or is it extra?
  • Is delivery included, and what does my site need?

Cash vs. rent to own

Paying cash costs less overall. Rent to own spreads the cost out and can help when you need storage now. Our Premier price list shows a price for every style and size, so you can compare.
